Shavuot (The Feast of Weeks; Pentecost) is one of the three pilgrim festivals biblical Israel was to honor every year. It is believed to be the occasion when God gave the Torah to Moshe for Israel. This course traces Shavuot in the Hebrew Bible and Book of Acts and includes the historical methods and customs utilized by the Jewish people for its celebration.
