Description

Chanukkah is the Feast of Dedication (John 10:22) which commemorates the rededication of the Temple after it had been redeemed from the hands of the pagan Antiochus, the Seleudid king.  Another eight day occasion sees lighting of one additional candle each night.  Our course will recall the history of Chanukkah as well as its special songs and cuisine.  Yeshua is recognized as the Light of the World particularly on Chanukkah.

Purim calls to mind the Book of Esther and the Persian attempt to engage in genocide against the Jewish people.  The history rehearses divine intervention and the rescue of Israel.  The methods associated with the custom of reading the entire scroll of Esther and other fascinating Purim practices will delight every learner.
