The National Jewish Fellowship School of Ministry (NJF SOM) exists to provide training for those sensing a call to Jewish ministry, whether as credentialed ministers in the Assemblies of God, or as equipped leaders within the local congregation. The school seeks to promote a unified purpose for ministry within the Fellowship, providing doctrinal and practical instruction based upon core values and shared ministry goals. More details and a list of courses can be found here. These courses are not just for those seeking credentials but to anyone who wants to further their biblical knowledge for their own personal edification

Those seeking to pursue studies in pursuit of credentials with the Assemblies of God must first read the Student Handbook at this link. After reading the handbook, click on the application form here, fill it out, and submit it to the Secretary of the National Jewish Fellowship.. After your application has been approved, you will be able to pay your enrollment fee and enroll in your first classes. PLEASE NOTE: You must enroll by the date listed on each class. Enrollment will be closed after those dates.

Each student is expected to put in 10-15 hours of preparation for class including reading required textbooks and completing a study guide. At the end of the class there will be a test administered online. When the class is finished, all work will have been completed.

Once all the coursework has been completed. each student must do an internship to complete the level they are working with. This internship could be done in conjunction with your local congregation. As you approach the end of your studies, we will reach out to you to discuss the internship. The NJF does not issue credentials. Once you have completed your internship, you will contact your district office to seek credentials through them.

You can enroll in one class at a time or pay for the entire level of credentialing that you are interested in. If you have any questions, please contact Carol Calise, secretary for the National Jewish Fellowship, at ccalise@bethemanuel.com.
