Description
With the redaction of the Gemara and completion of the Talmud, a post-biblical rabbinical Jewish code for living was recognized as binding upon all Jewish people. However, the ever-changing Jewish world mandated ever-changing modifications to Jewish life and practice. New codes were crafted, new philosophies were adopted, and Jewish mysticism with the proclivity for embracing false messiahs captured Jewish multitudes.
